Caught
Im going outside Vicki yelled so everyone would know where she was. It was a cold morning in December, the sky was blue. On the ground was a white blanket of snow.
She couldnt believe it had already been three years since Jesus had come back and taken his true believers. In four years he would come back to set up his 1,000 year reign on earth.
She missed her Mom, her Dad, her older brother Eddie, and her younger sister Jeanni. They had all been taken when Jesus came back, but one thing for sure was, she would have never wanted any of them to have to go through this period.
This period they were in was called the Tribulation. At this time God would send plagues called Judgments to get the unbelievers attention. How long would she have to live? Would her friends Judd and Lionel ever get home?
Nicolae Carapathia! Man, did that name just make her sick. Nicolae Carapathia was what Christians also known as Judiahites, called the Antichrist. The Antichrist was predicted in the bible to come and try to rule the world and it was successful for him. He had been accepted by millions of people just as the bible said. People even thought that he was God! Just because he died, and was resurrected the only reason Nicolae was able to do this was with the work of the devil! Jesus had been resurrected from the dead by the work of God, not the devil!
The people who most cooperated with him was the GC that stood for the Global Community. The Global Community was Nicolae Carapathias police force. The GC had taken over the police all over the world.
The GCs most wanted person was her friend Tsion Ben Judah he was apart of the Tribulation Force was a group of believers who spread the news about Jesus Christ. The members of the Tribulation Force were. Tsion Ben Judah the GCs most wanted because he spread the news about Jesus Christ around the world through his website. Rayford Steele, the leader of the Tribulation Force, he was a pilot before the disappearances. Cameron Buck Williams, used to be a journalist for the Global Weekly Magazine before the disappearances, now he was a husband, and a father. The final member of the Tribulation Force was Chloe Steele Williams, the youngest member of the group, she was Rayfords daughter who was in her 20s, she was also was married to Buck, and had a son named Kenneth Bruce Williams.
Vicki missed being able to talk with Chloe, they would have probably been best friends. Vicki was apart of the Young Tribulation Force. The members of the Young Tribulation Force were Judd Thompson Jr. who was now 19 almost 20, he was the groups leader. Judd was wanted by the GC for having information that could have destroyed the GC. Her name was Vicki Byrne and she was practically the co-leader of the group, she is 17 going to turn 18 in March. She was wanted by the GC for the death of Mrs. Jenness her High School principal who she was falsely accused of murdering, she was also wanted for braking into the GC satellite feed and witnessing to people. Lionel Washington was probably the smartest person in the group, he was 16, Lionel was wanted by the GC for abandoning his post with the GC. The final member of the Young Tribulation Force was Ryan Daley, Ryan would have been 15 now, and he had been killed in a worldwide earthquake when he was 14.
Man, did she miss Ryan.
Then came the other members. Mark Eisman, he was the computer genius of the group, he was great with computers, and electronics, he was a former Militia member and was now wanted by the GC. Shelly Malloy she had been her best friend for like forever, they had grown up together, and now were always working together. Conrad Graham he had entered the group right after the world wide earthquake, he used to work with the GC morale monitors with Lionel, he was now wanted by the GC for abandoning his post. Janie Mcanyon was a rather interesting person, she had been one of the hardest people to convince in the group, and she was wanted by the GC for escaping the GC prison. Melinda Bakley had worked with Lionel and Conrad in the GC morale monitors; she was wanted for abandoning her post. Another person in the group was Charlie. Vicki smiled when she thought about him. Charlie was mentally retarded and was slow at understanding things, but that didnt stop him from learning about God. Then came Chang Wong he was apart of the Tribulation Force and worked in New Babylon, Iraq, he worked on computers and was a computer genius.
Vicki smiled as she thought about all her friends they had all been through so much.
Hey, Vick whats up? someone asked her from behind, making Vicki jump. She turned around to see Shelly.
Nothing, Shel just thinking about my family Vicki said to Shelly.
You miss them? Shelly asked Vicki.
Of course, I miss them each day of my life Vicki said to Shelly.
Suddenly there came a sound from the distance it went Thwack, thwack. It was the sound of a helicopter! Suddenly Vicki realized it was a GC chopper they had been caught, she had to tell the others before it was too late. Vicki started running like she had never ran before, Shelly was right behind her the whole way. Vicki finally got to the safe house and ran into the house. Vicki yelled from the top of her lungs GC.

Judd felt this overwhelming feeling that Vicki and the others was in trouble. What could be happening? Had the GC figured out where Vicki and the others were? Suddenly Judd dropped to his knees and started to cry out to God to protect Vicki and the others.
Judd are you okay? Lionel asked running towards him.
Vicki and the others are in trouble Judd spat.
No Lionel said to Judd.

"What should we do?" Shelly asked Vicki.
"I don't know" Vicki said to Shelly.
"You are all under arrest by the Global Community" a GC guard yelled running into the safe house. They were all rounded up and arrested, and they were taken into a GC headquarters. Once they were all in the GC headquarters they were all separated. Boys went to the cells on the left, and girls went to the cells on the right. This is great! What could happen next?!

"What should we do?" Lionel asked Judd.
"I don't know" Judd said to Lionel.
Lionel quickly went into the other room and turned on the T.V.
Judd come here Lionel yelled to Judd.
Whats wrong? Judd asked. But Lionel shushed him.
Just listen Lionel said to him.
Today a top Judiahite was caught. Her name is Vicktoria Byrne. She is now currently being held in jail and will see Potentate Nicolae Carapathia tomorrow morning The T.V. reporter said.
"WELL THIS IS GREAT" Judd yelled.
"Calm down" Lionel said.
"Our friends might be dying and were just standing here" Judd said.
"Judd don't be mad at me" Lionel said trying to calm Judd down. I know we need to get them out, but let's go talk to Mr. Stein first".
"Okay" Judd said.

"Byrne, come with me" a GC guard said to Vicki, so she followed.
"Sit" the guard said pointing to a chair.
"You're going to New Babylon, Iraq, Byrne Potentate Carapathia wants to meet you in person" the guard said to her once she was sitting down.
"When do I go?" Vicki asked.
"First thing in the morning" the guard told her.
Once she was back in her cell she started thinking about her situation.
This couldn't be real. She had to meet the antichrist.
"God, please protect me" Vicki prayed. I need your protection and wisdom, Lord".
Vicki thought of each person she had met since the disappearances. She prayed for all her friends. The last person she prayed for was Judd. Could they ever be friends again? Or could they be more than friends? She loved him. Would she ever get to see him again in this life?
She thought of comforting verses. Fear not, for I have redeemed you, I have called you by name you are mine" Isaiah 43:1b was the first verse that came to her mind. She also thought about what Paul did when he was captured. He sang praises to God. So she decided to do the same.
"Amazing grace how sweet the sound that saved a wrath like me I once was lost but now am found was blind but now I see" Vicki sang until she fell asleep.

"Judd, I think there's someone outside" Lionel said to Judd.
"Who could it be?" Judd asked.
"I don't know" Lionel said.
They both looked outside and saw to GC guards. They quickly ducked down and hid from the guards.
"Well this is great" Judd said. Were surrounded by spiders".
"Are you afraid of spiders?" Lionel asked.
"No" Judd said.
They were quiet for a while, hoping the GC would not find them. Suddenly a GC guard leaned down and looked right into Judd's eye. "You are under arrest" the global community guard said.
They were both holed off to a GC prison and separated.

"This couldn't be happening" Judd thought as he was being taken to a cell. When they got to the cell the guard threw Judd into the cell.
"You didn't have to throw me" Judd said getting up from the cell floor.
"You don't like Nicolae Carapathia, so I don't like you" the guard said walking away.
Judd couldnt believe this. Would he ever get out of jail?
"Thompson" the guard said.
"Yes" Judd said.
"You will see Nicolae Carapathia tomorrow" the guard said.

"Wake up Byrne it's time to get you on the plane for New Babylon" the guard said told her waking her up.
Vicki got up and dressed into a pair of clothes and put her long red hair into a ponytail.
"It's time to go" the guard told Vicki.
A half hour later they were on a plane to New Babylon. A couple hours later when they exited the plane Nicolae Carapathia was there to meet them and right behind him in handcuffs was. No it couldn't be? Could it? It was Judd!

Judd and Vicki were taken to a cell and put together. Once they were in the cell they both embraced each other.
I thought I would never see you again Vicki said.
Well Im here now and Im not going to leave you Judd said.
Judd leaned down and took the back of Vickis head into his hands. He looked into Vickis beautiful green eyes that looked like lily pads to him. He put his hand through her silky red hair. He smelled in the scents of her perfume. Man did this feel good. Should I tell her how I feel? And risk her rejecting. This is just a chance I have to take. Judd felt like he never wanted to take his arms from around her.
I love you Judd said to her right above a whisper, he said it with such emotion that she recoiled in his hands. Judd leaned down and took her face close to his until their lips meet. They kissed with such a passion that nothing else meant anything. They were oblivious to the awful world around them where they didnt know what was going to happen next. All they knew right then was they never wanted to let go of each other. As they kissed they were also in a tight hug, Judd had his hands on Vickis cheeks and Vicki had her arms tightly around the back of Judds shirt.
I love you too Vicki said when they finally broke apart, they both were now in tears. Judd put his hand and wiped away Vickis wet tears.
Lets get out of here Judd said in a whisper to Vicki.
What should the plan be? Judd asked Vicki.
How bout we brake down a window Vicki said looking at the window.
Okay Judd said getting prepared. How about I lift you, and then you can get the window open.
That just might work Vicki said.
So Judd picked Vicki up by the feet, until Vicki got the window open. Then she leaned and helped him up. When they both were out they started running. When they got far away from the prison they started talking.
That wasnt a fair reason why we got taken to jail Vicki said, Judd could see that her eyes were red and she was starting to cry.
Judd grabbed Vicki by the arm and turned her around. When Judd saw that she was looking down he lifted her chin, and looked right into her eyes. Its okay; Im going to make sure that were never taken in there again. He could tell that she was starting to fell protected now that he was with her. He leaned down and took her face into his hands and took her on the lips, he put his arms around he while they kissed. When Judd started to deepen their already passionate kiss, she pulled away.
Im sorry Judd said, but Vicki just smiled. He leaned down and kissed her lightly on the cheek. They started walking again. Judd took Vickis hand and put her hand into his, they held hands as they walked.
Do you have a place where we can go? Vicki asked Judd.
Yeah follow me Judd said.

Graham follow me, youre going to take the mark of loyalty the guard said to Conrad.
Let me say goodbye to my friends Conrad said to the guard.
Okay, but make it quick the guard said to Conrad.
Bye guys Conrad said embracing Mark and Charlie.
Bye Charlie and mark said.
Conrad was led to the mark application part of the building.
Do you want the mark on your hand or your forehead? the guard asked him.
I dont want your stupid mark Conrad said to the guard.
You know what the consequences are? the guard asked him.
Yeah Conrad said, and he was lead to the guillotine.
Conrad was pulled to his knee and was put under the knee. As Conrad was waiting for the blade to take his head off he prayed to God. God I put everything into your hands, it is finished Conrad prayed, as the blade dropped and he was dead.
Where are we going? Vicki asked Judd.
To my friend Changs place Judd said.
Is he a Christian? Vicki asked Judd.
Yeah Judd said.
They both continued to walk down the streets of New Babylon; while they were walking they held hands.
When they got to Changs apartment, Judd knocked on the door to Changs apartment. Chang answered the door and hugged Judd. Vicki looked at Changs forehead and saw the mark of the beast.
You accepted the mark? Vicki asked Chang in horror.

Get in there a GC guard yelled pushing a young man into their cell.
You dont have to be mean the man said.
Mark looked at the man who was in their cell. To Mark he looked a lot like a gang member.
Who are you? the man when he turned around. Mark stared at the man. The man they were with was tall probably 510 feet tall, the man also had like 50 tattoos. Mark looked at Charlie who looked terrified.
Im Mark Eisman, and this is my friend Charlie Mark said with a trembling voice.
Im Vince the man said. Where do you come from?.
Mount Prospect, Illinois Mark said.
Same as me Vince said.
I lived in a trailer park called Prospect gardens Vince said.
My friend lived there Mark said.
Who? Vince asked him.
Vicki Byrne Mark said.
I know her Vince said.
How? Mark asked.
I was friends with her parents before they became religious nuts Vince said.
Are you going to take the mark? Mark asked Vince.
Probably Vince said.
I wouldnt if I were you Mark said.
Why? Vince asked Mark.
If you take the mark you will sell your sell your soul not only to Nicolae, but also the Devil! Mark said explaining to Vince.

Well not exactly Chang said to Judd and Vicki.
What do you mean? Vicki asked Chang.
I was forced to take the mark Chang said.
How did that happen? Vicki asked Chang with an unexplainable face, she was a combination of anxious, suspense, and worried.
Do you really want to know? Chang asked Vicki.
Yeah Vicki said.
Okay, here it goes. My dad is very loyal to Nicolae Carapathia. So he wanted me to be loyal too. So my dad and his friend drugged me and took me to a place to get the mark applicated on me. If they hadnt drugged me, I would have fought Chang said, the expression on his face would possibly haunt Vicki for the rest of her life. Vicki looked away she couldnt stand seeing Carapathias mark on his forehead. Vicki looked back to see Chang crying. She looked carefully at his forehead. She couldnt believe it! Did he have both Gods mark and Carapathias mark?
Gods mark was given to a person when they accepted his son Jesus Christ into their life. She had thought you couldnt have both marks.
I think I should be getting to sleep Vicki said yawning.
Yeah, me too Judd said.
Let me show you to your room Chang said.
Chang led Vicki and Judd to a bedroom. The bedroom had two beds. It smelled like mofballs. The room was painted blue like the ocean. In the corner was a small window, and over the window were some old blinds.
Vicki walked over to the bed and plopped down on it. This was the most comfortable bed she had been in a month. She looked over and saw Judd praying. She smiled while she listened to him.
Judd suddenly moved to the other side and smiled at her.
You okay? he asked her, getting up from his bed and he walked toward her.
Yeah Vicki said when he put his hand on her cheek.
Everything is going to be alright Judd said to Vicki. Then he leaned down and kissed her on the forehead.
I love you Vicki said to Judd.
And I love you too Judd said to Vicki. Then he walked back to his bed. When Judd got back into his bed he turned off the light and fell asleep immediately.
Vicki layed in the bed, she looked around and saw darkness. Only darkness it felt like she was in a black hole, with no light.
Eddie? Vicki said running through a long hallway that seemed like it would never end.
Dad? Vicki said now yelling. She kept on running down the hallway. Where would it lead to? Was she going to finally get to see her family again? If it wasnt her family who could it be? Was she in danger? All those thoughts went through her head. She was so scared. Was this a sign from God?
Mom Vicki screamed. She started to cry. Would she ever get out of here? Why was she in here?
Jeanni Vicki yelled. Then her knees gave way and she fell to the ground she was now staining her shirt with all her tears. Why was she so afraid? Was the GC after her?
Vicki? yelled a young girl. Who could it be? Where was she? Why was she here? Vicki looked up and saw. No it couldnt be! It was her little sister Jeanni.
Jeanni? Vicki said.
Hello Vick Jeanni said.
Vicki jerked awake in a cold sweat. Vicki opened up her eyes and saw Judd.
Vick, are you alright? Judd asked.
Vicki couldnt speak. She was so terrified, and yet sad. She had been able to see Jeanni. But for only a couple of seconds and also it was only a dream. She wished she could be with her Mom, her Dad, her older brother Eddie, and her younger sister Jeanni. No words could describe her pain. She wished she had listened to them when they tried to tell her about God, but now it was only a dream.
Its okay Judd said trying to comfort her. Judd put his arms around her and she rested her head on his shoulder. Tears streamed down her face and onto Judds shirt. It was like time stopped. Every emotion in her body came out. She never wanted this moment to end. Vicki felt Judds shirt it was soaking wet from her tears.
Im sorry she whispered. But he didnt care. Nothing really mattered at that moment. Nothing. It was like the world was nothing. Nothing was going on. It was like the only people who exisisted were the two of them.
Judd lightly took her face into his hands and looked straight into her beautiful green eyes.
Whats wrong? Judd asked her.
I had a dream about my mom, my dad, my older brother Eddie, and my younger sister Jeanni Vicki said to Judd. She missed them so much. Moms smiles, Dads strong voice, Eddie, and Jeannis laughs just thinking of them made her smile. The only word to describe her pain was she was heartsick. They were only a memory now.
Its okay youll see them in heaven Judd said to Vicki. He stroked her beautiful red hair. He rocked her back and forth like a new born baby.
I know the dream just scared me Vicki said to Judd. She looked into his eyes. She loved him. She wanted to be with him for all of eternity.
Its going to be alright Judd said. Lets get to bed, we need are rest.
After saying, that Judd leaned down and kissed Vicki one the lips even though it didnt last long it was still passionate.
Then he went over to his bed and fell asleep.

Where am I? Lionel yelled angrily.
Youre in a GC prison a guard told him.
He couldnt believe this! Was he ever going to get out of jail?
Psstpsst a voice came from the other side.
Who is it? Lionel asked.
Its me Chang the man said.

Vicki woke up at 7:00 a.m. to the smell of pancakes, eggs, bacon, and sausage, did Judd really make breakfast?
Hey Sleepyhead Judd said smiling at her.
Good morning Vicki said to Judd.
Come on, I made breakfast Judd said to her.
Vicki got up and followed him.
Here Judd said giving her the plate of food when she sat down.
Thank you Vicki said to Judd.
Your welcome Judd said to her.
Vicki ate the food Judd had given her. Judd sat down across from her.
What should we do to get home? Vicki asked Judd.
Ive got a friend who can take us Judd said.
Who? Vicki asked him.
His name is Westin Judd said.
Ok Vicki said.
Ill go call, and ask him Judd said
Go ahead Vicki said.
Judd got up and picked up the phone. She watched him as he called Westin.
Thank you, Westin you dont know how much this means to us Judd was saying to Westin. Bye.
Im back! Lionel said running into the room.
Lionel! Vicki and Judd yelled together.
They didnt know where life would take them, but all they knew that they all had to stick together no matter what.
